Project Announcement -Primary Care Centre
Walsh & Sheehan Mechanical Services are working alongside MACKEE Construction on the Baltinglass Primary Care Centre and Social Housing Development. This is a very exciting project for Walsh & Sheehan Mechanical as it also includes the redevelopment of the old convent building into 16 apartments, along with a further 56 houses being built on the site. Our team will be looking after the Mechanical Installation on this project.
The development of the Baltinglass Primary Care Centre began in mid-2019 with the long-awaited Primary Care Centre initially scheduled to open its doors to the public in late 2020. The new Primary Care Centre includes an ambulance base, GP offices, staff facilities, reception and car parking.
The new Social Houses in this project will be looked after by Respond, who have a policy to add to the national housing stock rather than buying up homes. This policy will help to alleviate the pressure felt on the Irish Housing Market, and help to end the Housing Crisis.
The core focus for everyone within the Walsh & Sheehan team from the Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers, Accountants, Administrators, Plumbers, Welders, Pipefitters, Skilled Laborers, Engineers and Apprentices alike is to provide an excellent service to MACKEE Construction when completing this project.
